About Ambrosial Yoga

Ambrosial Yoga is a therapeutic approach to the sacred art of yoga using the Ghatastha Yoga Method.  Yoga is a unique and proven health system. The Ghatastha Yoga Method is designed to optimise the preventative and restorative health benefits of yoga. Ambrosial Yoga is the prefect way to minimise or resolve current health issues and prevent new ones from occurring.

Ambrosial Yoga also specialises in women's yoga.  During her apprenticeship training, Catherine developed a growing awareness that female hatha yoga practitioners need to tailor their practice to accomodate their monthly cycle.

Ambrosial Yoga was developed by Catherine as a response to the wholistic and cyclic approach female yoga practitioners applied to their daily practices in times past.  This traditional wholistic method accommodates the fluctuating emotional, mental and physical changes a woman experiences due to the functioning of the female reproductive system.

Ambrosial Yoga currently runs programs in corporate workplaces and Secondary Schools across Melbourne.

Ambrosial Yoga can tailor yoga classes to suite all differences in ability and experience.

Catherine's classes are both fun and educational.  Participants leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and uplifted.

Wherever you are at in your life, Ambrosial Yoga is the ideal way to begin yoga and discover new possibilities.

Catherine Fisher

Founder of Ambrosial Yoga

Catherine has been practicing yoga for 20 years, including a decade long traditional yoga training apprenticeship with Duncan Ewing at Yoga Arts Academy.  This training provided Catherine with all the skills necessary to teach classes in all styles as well as private tuition and therapeutic/remedial sessions.

Catherine is the founder of Ambrosial Yoga which specialises in yoga therapy in the traditional one to one setting.  Ambrosial yoga is founded on the belief that anyone can receive and enjoy the health benefits of yoga, regardless of circumstance.

Catherine is currently continuing her yoga studies along with Sanskrit and Carnatic chanting.
